Known for “eternal optimism,” Dee Dee Raap believes life becomes an amazing journey when we fuel it with positive energy and core values, concepts she brings into every presentation to help audiences build the resiliency to solve real-life challenges.
She didn’t grow up that way. She learned the hard way, through losses that led to the discovery of core values she brings into every program–like optimism, gratitude, and quality–to help people serve, lead and live a balanced life.
Dee Dee is a graduate of SDSU, and after marketing careers at South Dakota Tourism and BankWest, she began her professional speaking and consulting practice. She has spoken in 38 states, two Canadian provinces, has conducted nearly 100 focus groups and employee satisfaction surveys, and is a member of the National Speakers Association. Clients range from Fortune 500 to a small cafe. Dee Dee coaches leaders on creating cultures of great service, and she inspires those who serve to take care of themselves in her newest program, Self Care for Real Life.
As an author, Dee Dee writes ezines, blogs, and articles on customer service, leadership, life balance, and has written four books on healing from loss and customer service.
Dee Dee’s newest passion is helping people “make their journey great” by building resilient strategies that help them face the challenges of real life. Dee Dee lives in Sioux Falls, is married and considers her greatest compliment being called “Gumma” by two of the world’s best grandkids.
