Marco DeCapite is the founder and president of VersAlta Technology Solutions, LLC. He is currently serving as the Executive Director of the recently established Process, Data & Technology Department for the Archdiocese of Detroit. In this role, he is tasked with using technology to connect souls and to unleash data to help unleash the Gospel. In addition to the archdiocese, Marco has served as a technology director for over 15 years to a consulting firm, an art gallery, and an advertising agency. In 2012, he was part of the pitch team that established Commonwealth as the new Global Advertising Agency for Chevrolet, consolidating over 72 individual global agencies. This resulted in his oversight of an 18-month project to replace General Motors’ Global Digital Asset Management platform. In addition to General Motors, Marco has consulted to DTE Energy, PowerSpring, Team Detroit, and Audi of America. In his younger years, Marco started the Frassati Society of Detroit for young adults to discover and live out the example of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, whom Pope St. John Paul II called the patron saint of youth and young adults in the new millennium. He is also a certified catechist struggling to evangelize 7th graders at Christ Our Light in Troy, Michigan. Marco has an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Tufts University and a master’s in computer engineering from Stanford University. Despite his sordid past, he is married and relying heavily on God’s grace to raise four daughters with his wife of 17 years, Allison.
